Parents from all over Japan visit Gokounomiya Shrine before childbirth to receive blessings from Empress Jingu, the goddess of safe delivery. Its sacred water, 'Gokousui', is famous for its beautiful taste.

Hirano Shrine is renowned for its garden with more than 400 cherry blossom trees of approximately 60 varieties. The shrine was built in 794, and also has deep relationship with the Japanese Imperial Family.
