Shiramine Jingu Shrine
Shiramine Jingu Shrine has been worshipped by ball game players all over Japan, as it enshrines the guardian deity of balls, Seidaimyojin. To seek the deity’s protection and blessing on their games, Japan national teams of a variety of ball games have dedicated their balls to this shrine. Shiramine Jingu Shrine is also famous for its “Toukon (fighting spirit) charm”, which many professional ball game players wear in their games to maximize their performance and wish for their safety.
