Kamigamo Jinja Shrine is the oldest shrine in Kyoto, and its entire grounds are registered as a World Heritage Site. The main enshrined deity is believed to have a very powerful thunder power that can remove all kinds of bad luck.

Yasaka Shrine has a history of over 1,150 years, and its main blessings are warding off bad luck and fulfillment of love. It is believed that a blue dragon lives below the main sanctuary to protect the city of Kyoto.
