Fujinomori Shrine

Fujinomori Shrine is famous for its blessings related to horse, and has been worshipped by many people for almost 1800 years after being built by Empress Jingu. The shrine is also famous for its hydrangea garden, where approximately 3500 hydrangeas of a number of varieties bloom beautifully in June and July.

Statue of the Sacred Horse：It is believed that this sacred horse will bring you good luck in various things concerning horses and competition.
The ‘Fuji’ Spring Water：This sacred spring water springs up from about 100 m underground.
Vending Machine：After buying a drink from this vending machine, the machine will play a sound of a horse neighing and a cheerful march to bring you good luck in matters concerning horses.
The Fujinomori Seven Lucky Gods：The seven deities enshrined here are associated with seven different blessings (business prosperity, good harvest, academic achievement, luck in competition, longevity, happiness, and good human relationships).
The Hydrangea Garden：The hydrangeas bloom beautifully every June and July.

Emperor Nintoku：The 16th emperor, who was praised as the emperor of virtue for exempting taxes for three years to save the impoverished people.

Empress Jingu：The 14th empress, who is the symbol of valor and safe delivery.

Takeuchi no Sukune：The deity of longevity and good luck.
