Kifune Shrine, which is known for the dragon deity's oracles, has a history of over 1300 years and is the headquarter of the water deity shrines in Japan. The Yui no Yashiro Shrine that sits in the precinct is also famous for fulfilling the visitors' love.

The history of Shimogamo Shrine dates back to before 90 BC, and the shrine is registered as a World Heritage site. It is believed that the healing energy filling the precinct is one of the strongest in Japan.
